Cold Weather Recall

What's this I hear of a cold weather recall? I saw it referenced in another thread, and would like some more information about it. Have there been any recalls on the m2?

i had a recall on my radio due to cold weather... but thats all. something about when it got too cold like -15 or lower the radio wouldnt turn on or somethin... it never gets that cold where i am, but i took it in and had it replaced anyways!

Yeah, I called my dealership and I guess only some M2's got recalled. Mine is okay lol, from what they say.

ya the letter i got said it was only if it was made between this time and this time... not all Mz2's

Good to know, good to know. I was just paranoid because I recently purchased a motorcycle, and found out on the forum that it's had a recall since last year lol (previous owner was unaware).

Here in Quebec the weather in winter is really cold. -30 Sometimes

So yes there is a recall on the radio because in extreme cold weather the stock radio could take like 5 minutes to open.

In Minnesota, it gets that cold too. I just think there are different radios in some M2's. That's why it wasn't a total recall? I bought mine is august of 2011, so maybe it was just fixed prior to purchase or something!
