cold air intake?

Has anyone heard a mazda 3 with stock exhaust and a mazdaspeed cold air intake? Is it much louder under normal use than the orig. air intake setup?
Is there in fact better throttle response? Any issues with water?

It should have a good growl to it on the regular 3. I don't know about throttle response.

If you mean, the STOCK exhaust coming built from factory with a CAI, then you'll just hear a nice growling tone from your engine. That is your intake sucking air from the atmosphere. Not that loud, but its nice.

As for throttle response, you should get a nice increase in torque. You'll notice your car pulls harder. At least I did with my reg MZ3.
