you mean over stock or vs. another intake? i agree most intakes are comparable and it would be difficult to dicern an HP difference which is where sound, price, and accessability for service come into play

u guys are noobs. I just added a supercharger. 2-3psi increase in boost just as advertised.

ouch, wouldn't have done that if you plan to go to the track or the dyno any time soon, but i am sure the extra mpg was worth it for daily driving

cobb is definitely every bit as competent as CP-E, so don't even bother going there.

I do not disagree on this point. Cobb is an extremely competent company...but I will still argue that anywhere you can work to reduce charge temps (through intake, intercooler, piping, manifold, and coating work) will always pay dividends.

ya, i agree that there is a difference, but i also think that it's a very minimal difference after all the stuff that factors in (all things equal). imo, it would be much better usage of your money to simply put that extra $100-150 toward a TMIC or any number of other mods. as driver311's dyno runs show, it's a pretty unnoticeable change...enough that he's been running his CAI in SRI form for some time now, i think.

Yes it does. It allows Cosmic Blue to sneak up on your ass.

On topic though:
I have the Cobb and love it. I did put the Stock airbox back on so I could take it to the dealer. I actually missed the Cobb. I did find a little dirt on the filter side of the MAF during the change over. Q-Tip fixed that.
