my hose was pushing up on the intake too, i got a different hose thats longer and has a wire in it to keep from kinking and now it goes down. but when i get the inlet i will trim it again.

Actually, I've never had a problem with the new recirculation hose pushing on the intake.
Where are you in SoCal? I'm in Santa Clarita. (hi)
odd, my recirc hose, since it angles up into the bpv, pushes against the bottom of the cobb intake, almost like it would hold it up.

anyone know if pg takes awhile to ship stuff? i ordered my cobb inlet 2/8
it shipped on 2/12 and still hasn't arrived....i'm impatient i know =)

Just go to any website that sells them for the best pictures. As far as installed goes, there's nothing to see, but I'll post a pic anyway.
And might as well ***** out the car.

PG takes a while with everything they do. even to reply PMs .Hopefully they can work to improve that aspect, because they sell some exlcusive parts for our cars @ reasonable prices.

It's probably on back-order. You think that's long? I ordered something from them back in Dec. and it says it was "shipped" but obviously that's not the case since it's Feb. and I still haven't gotten the part in. They don't respond to emails either. To their credit, I've spoken to them over the phone and they told me it was back-ordered but this was 3 weeks ago and still nothing.

Just to keep this on topic, I placed my order earlier this week for the black Cobb inlet as well but with SU - can't wait to get it installed along with the Cobb SRI.

I ordered mine from Street Unit and received it within a few days - this was a couple weeks ago, so I don't know what the availability is like between now and then.

The install is not too difficult. If you follow the instructions and take your time it's not bad. You definitely need a good set of sockets with extensions. There are some tight fits. It's probably one notch higher on the difficulty scale than putting on an intake.

This is why I ordered mine from Cobb the day they went on sale. I knew they would sell out and be on back order forever, happened to their Intake.
I order from SU because I have had poor service from PG. SU has always shipped out fast and responded to my e-mails in a timely fashion.

Doesn't seem like the Cobb inlet is on back-order as I just got mine in today - took longer than I thought to get here but that wasn't SU's fault judging by the tracking info. from Fedex.
But you're definitely right though, I've ordered from SU 4 times now and have gotten my stuff without incident and usually in a timely manner. The ONE time I place an order with PG was bcoz SU never did get any of the CPE MMs in due to the redesign so I quickly placed my order with PG when I learned they got some in. Well, the MM came in within 2 weeks but it's been close to 3 months now and I still don't know where my WeaponR ETD is.
