So I ordered it and got it last night, followed all instructions with the installation, (sliced my elbow open and bled on part of them, oops). So with that said the installation was pretty easy, but when I fired it up idle went to 2k then settling at 800 rpms. I went back checked all my connections and everything seemed pretty buttoned down. Any help or suggestions as to what is going on would be greatly appreciated. Btw the car sounds like a freaking jet taking off, beastly.

My car starts idling at 2k when I first fire it up, then it settles down to 750 - 800 rpms. Don't think you have any problems.

the MS3 starts at a high idle, i remember when the car first came out everyone was asking questions about it or complaining about it's high start up idle.

There ya go man, you probably just haven't bothered to look at what the rpm's do until after you installed the inlet.

i guess well thanks for the confirmation, next is the AP just don't want to install it till my desno's come in, so tempted...thanks again

if you have any more bolt ons i suggest a fp. i ran into fuel cut problems when i ran the ap map and needed new fp internals. just a heads up.

My speed 6 on a cold start idles at 3K for about 5 sec then drops to 2K for another 8-10 sec then down to 700ish.
