Interesting. Where's the dyno of the car with stock intake and identical atmospheric conditions?

I don't have a base dyno. I was debating your hood closed vs open argument, I definitely made more power with the hood closed then open.

I find it next to impossible to believe that I lost power by adding a cobb sri. Unfortunately at this dyno day there were no bone stock MS3's all were modded to some extent.

Both had the cobb, it's just the blue line pull was done in 5th, which is supposedly our closest 1:1 ratio. But as you can tell the power was all over the place

Frag- I can see, it's all over!! Could it possibly be the BPV? I know you changed it, but who knows?

the blue line appears to be showing a bit of boost creep and the ECU's subsequent action to reel it back in.

See, I am wondering if it's the bpv then. Could be the spring he's using for the Forge possibly?

The guy driving tried not to put it under heavy load early, so maybe it just took longer to build boost.

Every dyno run is different, plus with the hood closed, air is being forced thru the IC where with it open, your basically just blowing air over it. That may have a small effect on power.

I'm waiting for the Cobb BPV too. I haven't been able to find any information out on it yet though.
