Cobb ap

turbo 4

Hey guys i was wondering if once i get my cobb ap would it be safe to run the stage 1 map or any map that will be ok with an hks short ram intake, turbo xs bov, hks catback. I wanted to know if anyone has the same set up and if so what map are you runing, or even if you have a set up close to this have you ran with the cobb ap and if so what results have you had. I looked on the cobb web site but they have no maps that match my set up.

ANY RESPONDS ARE WELCOME!!!!!!(thumb)

I have not heard of anyone with the HKS but i have heard issues of people using the similar CPE short ram intake. I think that a good rule would be that if you dont have the cobb parts then dont get the AP. They wrote the maps using the cobb parts and that is what they are disigned for.

The BPV and CBE should not make any differance

In that case i guess i will be selling my hks intake and bov, and buying a cobb intake and putting back my stock bpv.(bang)

Or you could wait for the self tuning application to come out. Should be out soon. Ive also heard that you can send cobb your data logs / mods and they can customize a tune for you. Costs like 150 bucks I think.

I have heard something that that too. But the te pro tune should be out soon too.

Cobb recommends using the stock bpv, because aftermarket bpv's can lead to overboosting issues if they're not configured correctly (per their tune notes). To the Op I have been researching the ap, and am going to mod around their recommendations. I live in IA, and dont know of any place close to have a pro tune done. I have also heard of people sending in their logs to have a custom tune done, but sometimes they dont hear back in a timely fashion.
