I don't think so, if anything i think it would benefit the engine a bit
Certainly not. Well, define "tune". If some numbnut screws with it, then yes you can destroy a motor with a bad tune.

FFS worked fine last night with the updated software. I actually went back to a v1.01 beta map and I'm happier with the performance.
Anyone else try the 64 bit programs? Mine won't connect to the AP at all.

can heatsoak cause KR ???
i was at the drag strip lastnight.. waiting inline to do my run i know my TMIC was heatsoaked.. i never see any KR ( .7 at most leaving stop lights ) and 0 KR at WOT..
but after my run my AP said 4.7 KR !!
was it cuz all the heat sitting in line before my run ??

I've noticed more and more KR at higher temps, especially after getting the car up to operating temp. This wasn't as noticeable before with cooler ambient temps, but would show itself from a stoplight accel. or mashing the throttle right away on the freeway. Once at WOT, it's gone.

I've got the Cobb TIP, Cobb Intake, and Cobb AP running the stage 1+SF 93 octane map. My boost was peaking around 21 lbs. Isn't this bad and how do I fix it?

Peaking and spiking is ok, it's holding there that can be a problem.

(iagree) if ur holding above 19-19.5 that could cause some issues..

For those of you running with LC/FFS, what are your settings?
My LC is set at 3800 and the FFS is enabled at 4500, which I really like. I've noticed that the LC revs about 100-200rpm higher than I set it at, but that's no big deal.
Also, I've actually went back to running a v1.01 beta map. The v1.02 was seeing way too much knock for my liking, but this map has been the best by far of any I've ran, and with 100+ miles on it, my fuel trims seem to be good, knock is at a minimum, and the car has lots of power.

some of the other forums state this at KR mistaken for timing adjustments, and that anything under 1.0 is ignorable and some have stated that they have turned off the sensor alltogether because it has become so annoying.

With the 1.02 map, even after the break-in period I saw KR of 4-6 easily in the higher gears.
I'm still waiting for more map options. I'll stick with my 1.01 map for now until something more suited to my mods comes along.

i am now stage 1 sf 93! w00t! 5th and 6th gear where have you been all my life! i haz a zoomie.
