Is anyone running with the AP with the Corksport FMIC? If so, what map are you using? I should be receiving my AP within the next couple of days and not sure what map I should load.

My concern is with the ram-air intake set-up. Any experience or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kev

The map you run should be calibrated for your intake and your downpipe. We do have maps for cars with FMIC. What intake do you have?

Ah ha, I was not familiar with the intricacies of that part... you will most likely need custom tuning then. The intake calibration on these cars is crucial, find a tuner in your area that is familiar with the MS3 and budget for some dyno tuning along with your FMIC and the installation.

you guys should team up with CS and do some custom mapping for their parts lineup.

Prabaly not a bad idea. Corksport is a large player in the tuner market and have a solid product line up. A Cobb tuning solution for thier parts would only benefit everyone :)

^ Indeed.

I guess I'm stuck blowing a few hundred more on custom tuning on top of the cost of the AP. Some food for thought for anyone with the Corksport FMIC that wants the AP. No longer a $700 proposition.

MAPS from Corksport

Well I had looong conversation with a Corksport engineer today and:

1) they are developing a lot more proprietary parts: high flow cat in their racepipe for those with emissions restrictions
2) TMIC
3) other goodies...

the guy hinted that he they are currently developing maps for the COBB AP and their parts......

Unknown what the timeline is....

hope this helps(braindead
