could this be filled with co2 or n2o?
juut co2 and only 20 oz bottle... well the 20oz co2 bottle is like 30 dollars.. so more like 60-65 dollar for everything

could something like a no2 pressure gauge be hoowed up to this so we can see how much co2 is left?

there are pressure gauges for co2... a lot of paintball guns have them

hmm.. co2 spray on our stock ic... its so close to the intake, co2 does not burn well, therefore does that mean we will lose power? but im sure if there is any then the cold ic will make up for it

This is probally the 3rd thread I have seen on c02 sprayers, and not once has the kit ever been made. Always talk, if it goes through I would purchase one.

There's tons of 20oz bottles online for $20 thats the easy part...
The loop itself can be made by going to a car parts store and buying some brake line and a little pipe bender
The problem I see is finding cheap line/hose to go from the bottle to the intercooler. (I assume stainless steel would be a good way to go, but the only "cheap" stuff I found is this, and I dunno if it can hold the pressure or not. http://store.yahoo.com/frigidaire/6stainsteelw.html )
Then the actual fittings that attach the line/hose to the bottle and to the loop. Any suggestions? Sorry but I'm not good at trying to visualize stuff without being able to look at it and play with it.

Youve got it backwards.
Co2 isnt sprayed into the intercooler, its sprayed ONTO, which cools the charge temp and makes more power.

so did anyone get a kit or make one themselves? i can pick up a bottle, but i am not sure how or where to get a solenoid to hook up to the bottle so it will open on WOT (or when i push a botton) i do not want to manually open the bottle every time i have to use it. Also, I would like to hook a nitrous pressure gauge up that will go in a pillar pod. Will the gauge work with a co2 system? BTW-what is everyone using for the loop and line?

CO2 Sprayer = Waste of Money

IMHO

Please elaborate.

IMO its a small amount of money for decent gain that makes our bad ic cool things down considerably.

you are right total waste of money.... (headshake espcially with our small smic that gets heat soaked in 30 mins or so of driving...

for 5 seconds of spray, is enough to cool the smic to 30-40 F...

That doesnt sound too bad. I think i get a large bottle so I can keep it spraying during runs.
