Clutch Problems...

Ive just bought a Mazda 3 GX for the girlfriend and when we tried it out, we could feel some vibration on the clutch pedal, especially at higher revs! The salesman tried it too and could feel the same thing so we went to try another demo and it had the same default ... so we assumed that it was normal ...

but after reading a couple of posts here, it doesnt seem to be normal

we have to pick it up tonight or tomorrow, what would you suggest I should do?

how are you shifting? are you driving with your foot resting on the clutch pedal? I haven't felt any vibration from the pedal at any rpm/speed/gear combination in my 3sport

im shifting fast and i feel a vibration even at low revs and when im not moving at all ...

ill have to take it back at the shop for sure

yeah, the lack of responses would probably mean that no one has any ideas, and unfortunately neither do I! Good luck at the dealership!

I am having similar problem with my Mazda 3, it just started yesterday after 2600 miles. When i put into the first gear from idle, i felt a strong vibration coming from the clutch (i usually just a rev the car up to around 1000 RPM) and the car will jerk, just like when i was learning how to drive a manual trans. I also so feel the same kind of vibration when i shift to the 2nd gear (around 3100 RPM). As i go faster and higher gear, this vibration goes away.

what seems to be the problem?
is my driving habit correct?
am i burning out the clutch?

much appreciated :)

just wondering.. it happens to you guys all the way right..
mine is just a little vibration.. from time to time..
man.. now i am worried.. >.<
gonna bring it back to the shop later when i got time
and could ya tell me if you find out whats wrong.. THANX

actually the vibration grows stronger as i let go the clutch, i have noticed that it only happenes when i'm doing low speed (below 30mph) or when i stuck in traffic. Also i noticed that the vibration goes away after i ran the car in high speed (50mph). I haven't called up for service yet cuz this problem went away for a couple of dayz, but i would like to find out what the hell is going on. :(

Same problem here... Brought the car in and was told everything is normal. I guess I'll have to wait till something breaks to have them really look into it.

I have the problem when starting out in first when I first get going and then when shifting to second sometimes. But it is usually only when the car is cold and hasn't been running. My MP3 did that to me too. I think that it might just be because the car is cold, in my case anyway. It usually doesn't happen if I rev it a little higher when shifting instead of shifting at lower revs. I guess that I'm just as clueless as everyone else though. Does it only happen to you guys when it is cold out or when your car hasn't been running?
