Clutch Interchangeability

Hey guys,

I'm going to replace my clutch within the next month.

I'll be getting a clutch kit off of rock auto. So my question is, is the Mazdaspeed clutch kit interchangeable with a P5? I have an idea that it would be but the part numbers for a "Sachs" clutch on rock auto is different:

P5 - SACHS Part # K7030101
O.D : 8 7/8; I.D : 15/16; TEETH : 22

MSP - SACHS Part # K7005001
O.D : 8 1/2; I.D : 15/16; TEETH : 22

yes the mazdaspeed clutch kit will work. both the p5 and msp have the same exact transmission with the exception of LSD in the msp.

and the MS one will be beefier (i don't see any perf mods in your sig - if there are no plans - then a stock unit is fine - whichever is cheaper)

I believe you can use a 626 mx6 probe v6 clutch too because I have my p5 clutch plate on my kl tranny
BUT the pressure plate won't fit
