Clunk Updates

The energy bushings have a specific mounting design. ALso they have a tapet for grease. those would probably solve the clunk... but i think the bushings just wear eventually and need replacement... for me... i just took my bar off and kept the AWR endlinks with the stock bar... i have that luxury i guess

4K miles and counting.

The only thing is the front for the MSP... crunchy as hell but I know that there is a 156A update for them... I just haven't gotten to it. :D

Since November now..., not a sound, I mean NOTHING, no squeak from the front, no shocks squeaking in the rear....nothing all winter.

Almost too good to be true.

knock on wood.

I'm getting some funky noises from the rear end of my car again. Its clunk-like, but different (attributable to the different material used?). I didn't have the swaybar replaced though. The dealer convinced me the swaybar wasn't worn when they replaced them. Who knows.

I am so friggin paranoid about the clunk it's crazy. With the really cold snap we had, I swore the noise was coming back, i was ripping everything from the trunk to be sure.
Since it warmed up some, it has been quiet again. It's been a while now, i can't remember the exact date, but i'll dig up the invoice when i get home.
Like Newf said, knock, knock.

EDIT: 4 months and 6000 kms, no clunk so far.

I just used rubber in between of the bushing and bar, wrapped it around bar then placed bushing over it and tightned bolts. when that (IF) fails then I will do it again.

Clunkitty clunk clunk, Clunkitty clunk clunk, On my Mazda goes
Clunkitty clunk clunk, Clunkitty clunk clunk, over the hills of snow!!!

Damn it sucks when that wet stuff freezes. My car is clunking like a bastard. I'm going tomorrow and they'll replace my bushings(even the fronts). I'm gonna try and convince them to get me a new swaybar. I'll have a look at it when its on the hoist. Wish me luck.

Just got the ok from mazda. They are replacing the sway bar, the bushings, and the endlinks all under warranty. But that is the last time they'll replace the bushings they said, cause i'm at 105,000kms and way over warranty. I hope the work
