damn wtf is going on with this mazda company bulls***:(
I am soooo tired of their lack of customer support, I am done, I am going to buy a new car soon I think and NO mazda

Sounds like your giving up on your sig!
But I agree I expected Mazda to be a much more proactive company then they are. I can't see how there any better then Ford at this point. I will never buy another Mazda.

Edited --> Just got a message from the guy I've been dealing with at MNAO, and he said that some guy from Japan is flying in this week to speed up the hopeful resolution...cross your fingers They are still asking me not to have my bushings fixed again until they get a chance to see what is going on...I kind of think they should fix them and still see whats going on...no need to have a fully warrantied car knowingly not working correctly when it can be fixed temporarily while a more permanent fix is being derived

I still feel the same though about what I said below.

right now they are more worried about their ad campaign than they are their customers. I don't see a fix ever coming at all.
I hope that this mistake costs them a lot of money in warranty repairs...as we have all realized at this point in life, money is the only thing that really matters to big companies; reputation is an item that can be bought (through ads) and refreshed whenever needed...

I'm done.
btw, I will never buy another Mazda for any of the Mazda people perusing (not like you give a __it anyway) but hopefully there will be enought FIRSTTIME CAR BUYERS like myself who have been jaded enough by this experience to result in several potential extremely loyal customers who have not converted on average lifetime sales...I'mbabblingnow.

my dealer is not gonna replace my bushings anymore.... they say they wont do anything until Mazda comes up with something new......

they said Mazda wont pay them back for the bushings they order in to replace for me ........ WTF

Alright it's been about a month and the F-ing clunk is back.
So I called the dealer and told them that I well be there after work to drop my car off and that I want a rental until F-ing Mazda
is going to fix the F-ing problem. I have never had this much
F-ing trouble with any other F-ing car I've ever owned.

This is the F-ing sixth time they have been replaced.

F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda.

Everybody now!

F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda, F Mazda.

I am in Michigan, relatively near to Auto Alliance in Flat Rock where Mazda builds the 6 and it is their inland port for the MSP's. I have the clunk, never been fixed but dealer has heard it - I was waiting for a better fix... anyway, if anyone from Mazda reads this I am willing to have my car inspected by people at AAI, I know you have an R&D and engineering building down there. Just PM me.

Andrew

I take it that there's no more news? Not that i'm in any rush. I know that we're probably another 6 months away. I just wouldn't mind some new info cause Mazda Customer Relations sure doesn't know what the hell i'm talking about:rolleyes:

My dealership is currently waiting to receive the NEW bushings (sorry they never provided the part #)...should be in and put on my car in about 11 days. These are apparently the NEW Bushings MCI has been working on (for the Speeds).

Also MCI is currently working on creating an update patch to the car's computer program and plan to re-flash my system computer to help alleviate to intermitment stalling I'm incountering.

Mazda Customer Relations are like Mcdonald drive thru employee's....useless.

No.5...keep us posted on what happens. Every time I talk to Mazda, they keep saying that the speed has a "different problem" and it's a different suspension and bla bla bla bla bla, so I'm wondering that if maybe, they'll come out for a fix for it before the MP3's because of the 750 cars sitting at the docks in BC.

I have that meeting tomorrow afternoon btw

we'll do NewF.

Although I've been somewhat less vocal on these Forums, I have been reading everything, and starting to wage my "own battle" with MCI; considering NewF your selling your car and your the most vocal one. Someone needs to step up-to-the-plate too.

I'm not one to sit back and take it up the a@#.

I have voiced my displeasure with this whole experience (cracked windsheild (stress crack), clunking and stalling) with my service manager who inturn informed the regional manager in Western Canada. I'm more than willing to go-to-bat with the dealershp GM/ and or MCI corporate if these problems are not fixed. Granted I believe the issue will be rectified, waiting 1-2 years for a fix is unacceptable.

My service manager did mention that his buddy has an MP3 and the clunk in the speeds "is not nearly as bad as the MP3". Not sure if this is true since I've never been in an MP3 to hear 'it's' clunk. Basically on the Speed (in my case) the "clunk" sounds as if the board covering the spare tire is loose and constantly bangs around. Anybody who had been driving with me questions what's in the trunk (if I don't have the stereo at a half-decent volume to mask out the clunk sound).

The stalling I'm incountering seems to be getting worse as the temperature outside slower gets warmer; read my earlier post regarding MCI's 'reported upcoming fix' on my car.

WTF

No clue of what the Fs happening with Mazda. Since I installed my RHearts back, the clunk has gone bad to worse, I felt like my rear end was going to break away. So I went back to the dealer and ask them to have is checked. I always ask for the same guy to handle my car (even for an oil change). This guy is the suspension specialist (according to the dealer). He checked the Sbar and there was no play, so I asked him to undo the end links so that we can get the SBar disconnected, and go for a test drive. He did it and it made the same damn clunk noise!!!!!!! WTF even he was so frustrated and spent almost 3 hours with my car pulling things apart one by one to see what the F is going on. I was in the bay with him all the time and his suggestion was to install a stock (regular protg springs and struts and check) because he believes that the springs and struts are the ones doing the damage to the bushings and making noise, as he couldnt find anything wrong with my bushings this time. I swear I was with him and I didnt see any thing wrong with the bushings this time, they were perfectly all right. MAY GOD F*** MAZDA

If you want something really weird?
Mine has been clunking forever and getting worse as time goes on like everyone else.
About 5 months ago I put on an aftermarket Bosal Exhuast, 3 days ago the muffler snapped OFF! POS.
Anyway, ever since then NO CLUNK!

is it possible that you were never hearing the clunk, and that your exaust was just swaying back and forth and knocking? I've always noticed that my exaust moves around a bit, but, that's not making the noise on mine.

Try taking off the muffler for 2 days and see what happens :p.
I definitly had the clunk but the muffler must have been drowning it out with a clunk of its own.

Well, i see what ya saying. I had the muffler clunk too but after i tied it with couple of rubber cord (sorry i donno the name, mostly Truck guys use it ) the Muffler clunk is gone. any wyas i contacted my dealer to see whta ?Mazda is saying about the problem (se my earlier posting), they havent get any responce from MCI, WTF!!! even the dealers wotn get a good responce?

I ordered a "D" series bushings for myself I'm going to try it myself to do something with it. I'm tired of F****** Mazda. let them F.arond with their new fix, I'm going to apply my engineering knowledge and my friends automechanical knoledge i got atleast 4 guys to work with me (well for free though :D ) they are all mechanical and civil engineering professionals. atl est i gonno try something for my self and if I can manage to get away from the clunk fro 5 or 6 months i'll be happy. i'm planing to re-design the brackets or adding additional bracket to (4 bushings) try to ease the pressure on the bushings. suffered inough, what the hell just give it a try.

Just got back from the one on one meeting with the mazda rep.

Dood can talk! LOL

Anywho, everything sounds good. Without getting into a bunch of tech talk I can't repeat due to the fact that I'm no mechanic, nor was he, the fix sounds promising. it's a bearing type bushing ( I could be using all the wrong words here ) but basically, rubber bushings aren't cutting it, and their designing a much harder material. The bushing will now be able to move to some degree which should get rid of the wear and tear were seeing now. Only downside is that the car will be stiffer in the rear end over bumps. Not a big concern with me, we are driving a performance car, if you want a smooth ride, buy a camry or accord....or better yet a 6.

I was impressed enough with the discussion to walk away thinking that yes, my next car will be a speed, so back to waiting I go.

There's no ETA on the fix. Still in testing phase. Keep one thing in mind though, that once the fix is out. Your looking at a 20 min job to put the new ones on and that includes the time parking the car :)

Basically, I fell my duties are done. Outside of keeping in touch, and making sure they pull through on their word, I'm finished....unless the new fix doesn't work.

If you guys want to keep putting preassure on them to get the fix out asap, that's all up to you as it always has been. But, i ask you to be realistic, and as patient as you can, as redesigning something like this is no easy task.

I'm very tired today, we lost someone at work today so my mind is elsewhere, ignore spelling errors, and see ya later
