Clunk in steering wheel problem...

I have this very occasional problem that I can feel in the steering wheel. It feels like there is almost slack in the steering column or something, like maybe the steering shaft is loose. I wish I could pinpoint it, but it seems very random, most often occuring while I am turning into or out of a parking spot. It's more annoying than anything, and I hate to go to the dealer with something that I can't consistently replicate. Anyone have any ideas? I have had the clutch replaced under the TSB, so it wouldn't surprise me if something wasn't tightened up all the way...

I had this same clunking sound before. It would clunk when making a turn from a stop. I would check the front diff mount bolts to see if they have backed out or sheared off. This was the case on my car, one of the bolts sheared off and the other was backed out quite a bit. I tighten the loose bolt and headed over to the dealer and told them about it. They replace both bolts no problems since. But, now I have the Turbine Tech front diff mount and this should relieve me of my worries for the diff, for now....

I have been having the same issue for a month or so now. I went to get it looked at once but of course it didn't do it while I was there. I think I will take it back now that I have seen someone else with this problem.
