I used the 3M kit for about $15 at Walmart. You can burn up quite a few calories, doing this, but the results are well worth the effort. It took me about an hour to do both headlights. Next up: Some lens protector. I saw some of that at Walmart but didn't buy it, yet.

I also replaced a headlight bulb. The main difficulty was removing the white electrical connector, since it had been in place for 12 years. After wiggling it, profusely, I used a flat-blade screwdriver to help separate the connector from the bulb blades.

Looks good! But the effect won't last more than a couple months without a clearcoat. I've used toothpaste on my Pro's headlights and it works surprisingly well.

...especially with frequent highway use (but not within the next few months for this car). Ideally, the clearcoat would be harder than the acrylic lens. High-velocity small sand granules can be very hard.

By the way, my MX6 headlight lenses are 25 years old and very clear because they are made of glass.
