Clear LED Spoiler Light

After surfing the internet for the right pic for comparison, I finally found the right light for you 03.5 owners. I compared it from this closeup pic of a 03.5 spoiler, thanks njaremka.



The light for the 03 and 03.5 are very similar in design, that's why I thought they housed the same light. The 03 is 14in and the 03.5 is 16in, here's the pics and links.

^^ that one for the 03.5 MSP should also fit the Protege5 spoiler.. I don't have an MSP to check with right now but I'm 99% sure they are the same light unit.. at least the same interanal LED strip.

After hours of researching, I have come to the conclusion that they have different lights. Here's an illustration and a link to a separate thread on a how-to for wing removal on a P5. Look at #17 on the illustration. The P5 doesn't have the 2 mounting holes like the 03.5, it has 4 tabs which is completely different and you can see this in the pics in the how-to. I did found one that might work, they even have a smoked version. Size and shape looks good, but the 2 inner tabs aren't spaced out correctly, meaning the measurements between the two inner tabs need to be greater than the space on either side of them. All 4 tabs shouldn't be evenly spaced like this one I found, they should look more like this... 0__0_______0__0

From the looks of it, it seems the ES the P5 share the same light. But it's not for certain.

Can you take a quick pic of your light just to verify this. I'm 100% sure the P5 light is different from the 03.5, but I want to be absolutely sure. As you already know, there's no real proof without a pic. I would atleast like to see what the mounting holes look like. Kansei or anyone with a P5, please.
