Circuit's 03.5 Protege5

No updates on the car. Still sitting at Sprint as they are super busy. Got a couple photos back from my friend Iggy after a night shoot we did a while back.

I actually never noticed you didnt have the non roof rack filler strips. Weird lol pics look good though

Thanks! Yeah I have always had roof racks. When my car was resprayed, they masked off the racks, so if I remove them I will have to respray the tops of the doors. I would also want to completely shave the antenna and recover the headliner, since it needs to come out to do the filler strips anyways. So its kind of a big project lol.

Got the car back yesterday after 2 months. Suspension is perfectly dialed in. -3.5 degrees of camber front and rear with pretty much perfect fender fitment all around. Still have the lean issue but after 2 months of the car being away, I am feeling rejuvenated and determined to get her running perfectly. I've got about 2 months until the first show.

Here's a couple cell phone shots. She's super dirty and I will be pulling her apart immediately to get the retrofit redone and then work on the lean issue. I think it might be in the timing or wiring.

As far as the lean thing goes, Did you ever remove or adjust your tps sensor when you had the tb out? If the lean condition occurs while cruising, this may be your problem. I threw a p0171 code last time I played with the tps and ias.

Looking good buddy.

So clean![emoji7][emoji7][emoji7][emoji7]

Thanks guys!

I don't recall touching either. I'll see what my code reader says tonight.

Update: Got some work done on the retrofit

After I baked them open, I found a casualty. Good thing he was the only one, would have had to burn the entire house down

Slowly but surely I got the backing and reflector drilled for the city lights. Looks almost factory. Just need to get some longer LED's and that part will be good to go. Parking lights will be disabled (turn signal only) so that the city lights and projector halos will act as parkers. Got the headlights all together and everything wired up. Need to mount them on the car, wire things up there, and then test/tune alignment.

Man they look awesome... I wish you would've done it sooner so I could get the idea for the new lenses before I closed them up haha I still need to post my pic on Insta though
