They look Great! How did you do it? I've seen other cars with this kind of tail light treatment and it doesn't work for a number of reasons. But on Your CX-7 It looks NIICE.

I too think our taillights are something special that shouldn't be muted. What you've done is really striking. I love the contrast with the black especially.

I do think the accent below the Mazda badge is a bit much. But loving the tail lights!

The look really nice. Did you pick up a regular chrome strip at the local auto parts store?

I used a 1/4" thick custom chrome trim which are bendable which can be purchase from any car accessories store. This trims have 3M tape at the back. Just make sure that the weather is warm or hot when you apply them so that the trims are really flexible thus making them easier to apply especially on those corners.

Looks great...thanks for sharing.....glad you did not cover them up because I think the tailights "make" the rear of the car cool....that prism like light is way cool.

Oh question...I take it you popped off the tail light covers to do it? Reminds me of the CX 9...I think the tailights have that around them on the 9.

yea i just bought the trims.. going to do it prob on the weekend.. looks great!!... any other tips you would like to share about adding it on or anything?

Make sure you wipe the area where you are going to stick the chrome trims with ALCOHOL Wipes for better adherence.

........i was wondering if someone put the chrome trimmings on the headlamps ........post pics .............please post more pics of the chrome trimmings on tail lights just purchase a cx7 and would lilke to see more pics of the chrome trimmings (drinks)
