Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving! I am a new member of the forum and Ive been keeping up with all the threads this year. I just want to say this site has helped me out quite a bit with useful information and products for the Mazdaspeed. I have a friend who recently purchased a Mazdaspeed Protege and since Christmas is 28 days away, I plan to buy him something for his car BUT Im not sure what to get. Yes I have looked and typed in the Search box and there are a few products out there. But if you all can help me out..My question would bewhat would be on your wish list for Christmas for your Mazdaspeed?

Well anything from $500.00 or less. Something that just might boost more power or apearance look. The car is a Titanium MSP so anything is recommended!

APEX downpipe. $300 without cats, $400 with a high-flow cat.

I'm thinking of the downpipe but i hear different stories about its performance. I hope it's worth getting rather than a waste of $$$. Has anyone tried placed a Greddy exhaust on their MSP? I'll have to check in the "Search" box for that.

too bad you put $500 or less. i was going to say a new better car.

but for now i'll go with a a full line of Zaino car cleaning products. which will cost you way less than $500. it'll also help your car last longer and give it a look better than the day it rolled out to meet you when you picked it up

Thing's that should be on your list if you do not already have!!!!!!!!!!!!turbo boost controler, boost gauge pod, turbo timer, CAI, exaust, blow off valve, and many more. You will have to do research on which brand will suite your msp.

Well $500.00 to spend as a gift may seem a lot but i've had a bad year and a good friend to help me get through it. So far i'm thinking downpipe and intake or altezza and LCD/DVD System. Or maybe just a lottery ticket and a snickers bar.....lol.

altezzas and screens may not go over well, I'd hold off on that, it's more of a personal preference, unlike DP and intake is more like a... hey look I'm faster thing. Everyone likes faster right?
