Check engine light on

damn...I don't want to thread jack so where do we post this phenomenon? Has anyone else noticed the gear shift noise?

I was thinking that the wheel noise was due to them "testing" out the vehicle before I picked it up. The manager at the place asked if they checked out the brake pulse issue...hmmm. I know that in the quick guide it says to not brake hard for the first 600 miles. I wonder if them slamming on the brakes in a car that has less than 5 miles on it could cause a problem.

its probably a bad wheel bearing, i know to other speed3 guys that had the same problem, and they took it in at diff. times and diff. dealers and they both got new wheel bearings.

Had the same problem with the gas-cap. After talking with some of the guys in my engineering department. There is no switch for the gas-cap sensor. It is a differenial pressure sensor. So, crankling the gas-cap on tight might not solve your problem. If thats what it truely is.

a week after the check engine came on, I also had the tire pressure sensor button came on. Luckily I schedule an appointment at the stealership, and this time they actually fixed everything problem I had with the car. Now, I have no check engine light (even though I still have my intake), got an oil change and wash and other than the minor "squeeze" i hear when the car is really slow, the car is back to awesome status now.
