Well I just recently got a custom 2.5" turbo back exhaust installed and have been driving it for a few days now. everything is great with the exhaust but today while I was driving my check engine light came on. I also have zero cats and installed a MIL eliminator when the exhaust was installed. Which I thought would take care of any checck engine lights coming on bc of the o2 sensor. Does anybody have any ideas on whats the deal? Everything seems to be running fine also. Oh yeah and I disconnected the battery and reconnected it to reset everything and started the car and the checck engine light wasnt on. I also took it for a 5 min cruise and nothing. So im assuming its gonna come back sometime.

Any suggestions? comments? thanks

Well, I'm on my 2nd MIL eliminator, and it still throws a CEL. I have been meaning to try replacing the O2 sensor, but I've got a knee injury that's been keeping me from doing a lot of stuff I've been trying to get done for the past few weeks. How many miles do you have on the car?

Ive got around 4,000 miles on my car. So what the heck is wrong here? isnt the MIL eliminator sappose to eliminate throwing a CEL?

Yeah, it's supposed to, and with only 4,000 miles that different. I've got 30,000+ and I've been told it's probably just a bad O2 sensor. I've heard a few people say they had trouble with the MIL eliminators, but not everyone. Where did you get it from?

ah I got my MIL eliminator from Apex Motorsports. I have only had this on for 3 days now. I doubt my o2 sensor has gone bad already with only 4,000 miles on my car. What else could it be. does the placement of the o2 sensor matter? Where is the best place to locate it on the new custom piping? id say its atleast a ft to two ft away from the S-pipe.

im not much of a guru when it comes to this kinda stuff but, i disconnected my neg battery for a coiuple of min and my cel went away. only for a couple of miles though:(

so is there a specific way to hook the MIL up. I think I took the MIL eliminator to the blue and white wire if im not mistaken on the o2 sensor. And then there were 2 black wires. is this right?? So what is everybody doin that is throwing a CEL? just letting it be cause I wont be able to stand lookin at that damn check engine light all day long. Does it go away or always stay on. Damn this is so annoying.

should have came with instructions. disconnect your battery and drive about 500 miles on it see if it comes back.
