Not here in Ne, im yet to see a car with these wheels, I like them. i didnt really want to get chrome wheels, because i wanted to look more racry and not bling, but i use to have a explorer on 22s and i kind of missed the bling so i got a lil chrome. once i drop it etc, i think it will look real good.

Wow! the car looks lowered already with those 18's. You might have some rubbing issues when you put the lowering springs on. But I love the rims, always have liked those Konig's. Congrats, can't wait till the day when I can afford to put some aftermarket rims on my car.

Yeah, did you check on rubbing before you got that wheel/tire combo? I hope so because it would be a shame to not know and then drop it and rub like a MOFO everywhere you go.

yep........I still love that wheel and they look hot on the P5. Nice choice.

Your wheels look much nicer IMHO.

The Protege5 is a great driver's car, 215/35-18 is just not a good look on our cars.. maybe I'm just getting old but there's like no tire at all haha. They sure are shiny though? (yes) just don't seem to flow with the design of the car. If that's the look you want though, by all means do it, I'm sure my wheels have their haters too, but I like them so that's all that matters :)

i've also been looking at those tires. but reading the reviews is giving me mixed signals on what it will be like. gonna have to pick up some in any case as its time for some new rubber. seems like its more for racing than everyday driving (which is where i am, hopefully not for long tho).

Thanks Chris. I do like mine alot as well. When it's clean they look pretty tough. I do want to go up to a 17" wheel. I was thinking I would go 18"s but I am a little leary of a 35 tire......... I was all set to buy Jhew84's wheels locally (for sale on the forum) but then I ran into all this other good stuff for sale (rear sway, Josh's rotors, SLS momunt........) and ran out of mod money............still want the wheels, need more money....

i talked to another guy from the forums with the same wheel/tire setup, he is dropped and said he only rubs with alot of weight in the car or very tight turns. ill see how it goes after the drop is complete, then if anything ill have my fenders rolled. I havent had any rubbing as of yet??? Lets say it does rub bad and even after rolling fenders etc? is that bad or can it cause damage or is there anything I should know???

you know i was really scared of the tire size with 18's too, but the ride actually doesnt seem any different then it did with stock 16's. Im scared of pot holes still, but i know my area pretty good so i try my best to dodge them!!!

check out the Grill!!!
