NOBODY MOVE , NOBODY GETS HURT... , Nobody Move , Nobody Get Hurt ! ! !

This is a Thread JACK !

OK ? Now I see all you people buying these BOV and not the racing BPV , why? Why? WHY?

And Why no new waistgates?

And the Dove (Turky) I think ! , is coming from the BPV . Not ! the turbo / being a By Pass Valve by passing the pressure from the turbo back to the intake. Sounds good to me sense I did not hear it till I put the intake on

If you think that the BPV is making that noise, then take it off and put a plug in the vacuum source and BPV inlet/outlet hoses. Take it for a quick spin and then let me know what you think.

I am not saying to run like this more than once, but if you remove the BPV it WILL sound the same. This supports the theory that the noise is indeed comp. surge and not just the sound of the stock BPV working.

Sir Hayme,

That flutter is compressor surge coming from the small diameter of the BPV piping. The forced air is not getting recirculated fast enough and is causing the turbine to spin in the opposite manner. 505 has created a dual BOV/BPV set up which virtually eliminates the Turkey and will in essense extend the life of the turbo. There are many threads on this. Some people are buying BOV's b/c they don't care and want to vent to the atmosphere. They are aware of the stalling situation, and some BOV's do have a recirculation fitting (i.e. Greddy type S) We are not messing w/ the wastegates also b/c of warranty. One look at a new waste gate and BOOM, instant voided warranty (and also I believe it's apart of this turbo??) so it would be usless to get another.

hope this helps

*edit* 505 beat me to it! :D
