Cheap downtown parking?

Hey guys, I just drove up to Calgary from Vancouver a few days back to visit my gf (who's doing a coop term).

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any cheap downtown parking. My gf's apt ran out of visitor lots (thanks to Stampede) and I've had to either pay $14 to park there for the day or move the car every morning to another parkade for $7.50 early bird special (very troublesome).

I've actually thought of moving the car to a Park n Ride and c-training back to downtown, but that's kinda pointless isn't it? Moreover, I'm not sure if I can leave the car there overnight, and safety/car theft is another concern of mine.

Anyway if anyone sees a white P5 with JDM tails and superleggeras... honk at me! I can't honk back though cos my horn died lol!

Unless you don't mind doing some walking, 14 is the going rate for that part of downtown. Further south towards 17th and across the river (north) it gets cheaper.

WTF...that is ridiculous. Shouldn't the apt. landlord have anything to say about that? She is entitle to at least ONE visitor spot. Anyways..the going rate as Kona says is 14 all the way up to 17 bux near the Eau Claire area.

What's funny today was at least 13 cars got towed from my job because they were all scamming impark tickets and scanning them and just changing dates/numbers. LOL..I don't feel sorry for my fellow employees at all. MUAHAHAHAHA. Dumbasses

The place has very few visitor lots, so I guess any kind of long term parking is out of the question. Guess more people are around, especially since it's summer and all. I didn't have this problem when I drove up in April.
