changing tranny oil

Ive been reading this post and I have a whining noise from the engine bay when my msp accelerates do you guys think it might be the transmission fluid?

Transmission fluid doesn't make noise, lack of lubrication may. Does it change pitch as you accelerate?

The tranny fluid change is complete. I want to lubricate the ball part of the stick shift (I can hear noise in the boot area of the stick shift). Any idea how to accomplish this task?

Pull the cup holder up to get to the shifter.

yea when you accelerate just driving normal the noise is still there. What would need to be lubricated?

guys, will it be ok if i put 2qt of amsoil syncromesh and 1qt of lucas oil stabilizer? if not, which syncromesh should i use? (00 Prortege ES stock transmission)

Bringing back an oil thread as I am about to change my transmission hear soon.

Any thought on which brands/mixtures to use? Thinking about using 2 quarts Redline MT90 with the Lucas additive. Any thoughts?
