Change welcome message

Greetings all you crazy Mazda3 drivers

Anybody know if it's possible to change the message; from "Hello" to something a little cooler, like "Welcome Michael, would you like me to print you some money today?", lol.

No one has been able to do so on the 3, 6, or RX-8

i think it could be done but the question is "why waste your time?" if you really want your own messages check out the thread where someone built the "carputer" you could make that say whatever you want.

That's the thing, there have been a LOT of people trying to get this done with multiple vehicles. And without a total reprogram of the ECU I believe, it is not possible at all.

If it WAS possible, there are a lot of us who would be doing it though.
