Change dash computer to show mpg instead of L/100miles

Some day time pics. Do you guys have the radio controls on the steering column?

No we have Cruise Control buttons there, and we never got the climate control as an option either. The buttons on the right side of the stereo are different than the USDM Protege.

Oh yeah I see now... I miss cruise control though!!! Would rather that than the stereo controls!!

I think maybe the us version still have the cable operated vent direction change things? It's electric in ours.

Don't really need tsc really no... Only if booting it in the rain I guess... But other than that she grips great!

Is cruise comtrol standard over there? I think it was an option here I think

hi, what are you averaging in l/100?

In regards to our trip computer in the UK we get, Current l/100, Combined l/100, Remaining miles, outside temperature, and maybe something else but i cant seem to think of it at the moment.

My 323f is averaging 14.3 litres /100 miles which is 31.8 mpg UK our most basic fuel is 95 octane at $2.15 a litre
and 98-99 octanne super fuels are at $2.33 a litre

I suspect you figure octane ratings differently there. In America, the baseline fuel is usually 87 octane, mid-grade 89, and premium is usually 91-94 depending on the gas station. The stickers on the pumps say we use the (R+M)/2 method.

Oh yes, ours are most definitely cable operated. For the floor/vent/dash selection AND the temperature selection. I just swapped out my HVAC control panel. Those damn cables were a pain.

Except the re-circulate button,... that's "logic" controlled so that we can't re-circulate during defrost/feet mode.

I did the mod to eliminate the "logic" circuit,... now I can re-circulate when I wanna,... and I don't have the damn compressor running until I turn it on. (saves gas too)

I think everyone should do this mod,... the A/C compressor is running all the time without it,... and the A/C dash light doesn't turn on in the defrost mode so if you have the blinking A/C light problem, the compressor is still turning on and off all the time when the defrost or floor setting is chosen.

Here's a pic showing the copper runs to scrape through to disable it.

Here's the link to the mod.

I did that on my P5 but I won't on my MSP, my main gripe is the compressor running when the floor vents are selected.
