Just got this email reply from APR regarding a carbon splitter for the 03.5 msp.

Hi Chester,

Thank you for writing to APR PERFORMANCE.
Currently, APR does not have the requested application Splitter.
But, we would able to custom make one.
For custom make a splitter, we will need a bumper shape template.

First, use a large sheets of paper or cardboard, place underneath the front
bumper.
Draw the bumper bottom outline.
Fold it up then send to us.

Cost for custom splitter; $305+ shipping
Estimated working time; 7 days.

Sincerely,
TEAM APR

it would be cool for them to make a cf one but wouldnt they need to do proper rresearch and development or so i feel...i mean cardboard. no offense or trying to knock you making a good product but id rather they use a real protege bumper and do proper rnd work but thats just me.

So far no one is going to release a splitter for the 03.5 msp. There was a GI thread awhile ago, but nothing ever came out of it.

It's really tough to do that with our lips b/c the front end of it is a full inch higher from the ground than where it meets the wheel well. Our lips are VERY hard to work around... believe me when I say I know.

It's not hard to work with these lips. I did this in one day. Looks good and adds a nice touch to the front of the car.

I used cardboard also to make my template.

Definitely not DG. Made them myself and just used a piece of cardboard to get the shape I wanted.

I guess they do resemble the DG P5/03 MSP splitters.

How big is the gap between the 3.5 lip and the splitters??? It looks like an inch or two, but I really can't tell from those pics. It's REALLY tough to form them to the 3.5 lip b/c of the way the lip curls up towards the front. That is what I meant from post #7.

After I posted my reply I read your thread on the extension you created. You truely did work with the lip. Sorry about that.

The curve isn't that bad on the 03.5 lip. I guess the front were it starts to curve and then meets the splitter is about a half inch. Not bad at all.

Here is a straight on shot.
