ces light help!

I have an 06 3s touring 5spd. I have around 1300 miles on it. The other day I got a CES light. The car is running fine but why did I get this? Is there an easy way for me to check the code before a call the dealer and find its an evap code (dont think it is but who knows). I know when I had my Nissan I could turn the key off and on a number of times and that would cause my CES light to flash. Then I had a place online to go and look up the code it was throwing. Thanks in advance.

auto zone or advanced auto near you they will do a obdII check for free but it has to be the newer version can 2 or something i can't remember right now...

Yeah I went to Autozone last night. It was a purge solenoind or something like that. It has something to do with the fuel system from what they told me.
Im thinking it is one of these.
P1443 EVAP System Purge Flow Fault
P1444 EVAP Purge Flow Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
P1446 EVAP Purge Flow Sensor Circuit High Voltage

yup lots of those with the regular 3... i would wait a fillup or two before you take it to the dealership and be careful to not top off the tank as you may over fill it and not let the breather system function properly (at least thats how it was explianed to me)

mud, what symptoms did you have during/just before you got that CEL? I'm not sure, but i think I have the same problem, but I can't get it to throw a CEL.
