dude how do you do that?? that looks so cool!
u take a pic, u use a line dector, Emphaise all the hard lines and fill in the rest... Its a old trick but very hard to prefect...

basically i took one of the autoexe cars and photoshoped the hood and wheels on there. and then i did the line art ontop of what i wanted on the car. i had to draw in the rain guards manually with photoshop.

oh okay, i was noticing the front amber blinker lights were gone (mp3 bumper?).. and the lights on the side went from clear to amber..

Holy crap that looks AWESOME.. how hard was it to do?
thanks bro...it wasnt too hard...just a little photoshop of what i wanted to do on the car. the cell shading took me almost a year to learn. this wasnt something i learned over night. i was inspired by http://www.teamrice.org

i used to always ask them to teach me but they wouldnt so i had to learn from trail and error. they are still the kings at cell shading

cell shading is easy but tedious and time consuming. it took me hours to do this little one (see sig)

LoL! your cell shading has inspired me for the day.. I put off an essay thats due tomorrow, to do my cell shading of a mazdaspeed Miata.. put a good 4 hours into it.. I'll post it soon

Hey.. could you tell me how to do the wheels? I've gotten this far.. gotta start on my essay now haha.. but I'm gonna finish this by the end of the night.. or I'll die trying.

good start bro...for the wheels, you gotta trace that shiet too. trace as much as you can. i know its tedious but the line art will turn out better with more detials.

make another layer under the line art and color it instead of using the original picture for the color.

I know this stuff is tedious, but I'll ask anyways....

got a big question for anybody experienced in cell shading...I have a idea for a T-shirt I wanna make and wear at an up coming car show (and probably everyday of course  ). So anyway, I want to put a pic of my car on the front and back, and put "|P|r|o|t|e|g|e|5| is my anti-drug" or something of that effect. I like cell shading, but I don't have Photoshop. Anybody willing to lose hours out of their life to do two pics? (front of shirt: front of car...back of shirt: back of car...both pics at a slight angle to see the length of car)
