Cell Phone Photography

Nice pics subspeed and mgerst1. Keep them coming.

BTW, there's a huge culture called Lomography, based on what I posted before.

"Welcome to Lomography! We are a global community whose strong passion is creative and experimental analogue film photography. Lomography is about being in the moment, capturing it with your favourite camera – producing effects like light leaks, vignette framing and deep saturated colours! Our approach to photography, along with the 10 Golden Rules, was inspired by the discovery of the Lomo Kompakt Automat aka the LC-A in 1991. Ever since then, we have been active in countless exhibitions worldwide, showcasing millions of Lomographs in galleries and festivals, as part of our aim to keep analogue photography alive and in full swing. Currently, we have over one million members across the world, and this number is growing all the time! Read more to see what’s in store for you at Lomography!"

IMO, creativity cannot the expressed well if the picture quality is horribly bad... so far everything looks OK (except for outlawstar's... sorry not picking on him really, but that's just the truth)... some of them have washed out colors but thats all fixable with photoshop :)

exactly...I would think this might be more about the spontaneity of the picture and subjects, not how well you can process something after the fact....something more for the non-professional. (shrug)

i have a samsung memior and i didnt think the pics were that good...guess it depends on the settings?

well anywho back to the pics

I'm learning which settings do what best...regardless of their intended uses (night, portrait, landscape)...for me, it's nice to have a multi-tasker...and not lug around a camera and a phone (and a work blackberry)....

yea im experimenting with the setting too, so far i think i like it with the saturation at +1 and the contrast at -1 but i haven't really tried the preset settings that much

Here are a few from last week. A local Walmart is becoming a super Walmart and apparently somebody wasnt too careful when welding. I was on the way to lunch when I saw smoke start...

Maisy pup...just fiddling around with the different settings on the new cell phone. This is "watercolor" in the mode options. The room was fairly dark, only light coming from the dining room area to the right...she's such a ham when you take pics of her. :)
