i pulled out of my driveway today and got into 3rd gear and the check engine light came on and the car started running bad ... went to auto zone to see what the code was and it was mass air flow sensor has high input.
anyone have any ideas?
i reset the comp and it runs good except for 3rd gear.. 3rd gear is laggy and un responsive.

do you have a cai? had it rained the night before? happened to me. took the maf out first time, and had tiny drops of water on it. Now i just let my car run for a while before getting on it, and it hasn't happened again.

i do have a cai and it didnt rain the night before(that i know of anyway) after resetting comp, the light hasnt come back on but 3rd gear still feels sluggish.

may take time for the computer to readjust for the CAI

not sure, but it sounds like it makes sense, lol
