Some background:
327,000KM. Auto. Tuned for 91 octane.
2 weeks ago, I am driving, and suddenly the car starts to misfire.
Plugs were re-gapped, misfire solved.
About 2 hours of driving later, CEL comes on, then turned back off after a few drive cycles. Still no drivability issues.
Another 1-2 hours of driving later, the engine suddenly starts to buck and shudder again, only at very low rpm, very low load and throttle position, only once fully warmed up, just as before. Drives perfectly smooth during all other instances. The engine clicks, partially loses power and hunts at idle. Still feels and behaves like an ignition related misfire.
So, I scanned using Mazdaedit again. P0600 code. Fixed that with the installation of a new battery.
But... Still misfiring. I scan again after 1.5 hours of driving and... No stored codes, nothing!
I am stumped. Help..
