Protege 1.8 auto - History CEL on Service said it was catalytic converter. Replaced cat. No CEL for two weeks. CEL came back on. Autozone checked and said it was bad Cat, I explained that it had been replaced. Recommended fuel additive to clean up carbon. Added to fuel and reset CEL. Light stayed off for a few weeks and then returned. Replaced both O2 sensors. Reset computer. CEL does not come on 1st time I start the car but does reurn on 2nd time and every time there after. I am going back to check code. Any ideas before I let everyone know that most recent code? If the O2 sensors where bad the whole time, could I have damaged the brand new CAT or do I have other issues like a defective CAT that was just replaced?
