Cargo Liner Recommendations Please

What is my best option for a cargo liner to cover both the seats (in any position) and the sides of the cargo area from scratches?

I know Mazda sells a soft cargo liner but has anyone bought one from Wal-Mart or anything like that?

I have this now, tested it out some.

It hangs off the middle row seats, and is wide enough to go up both sides of the cargo area, but of course does not stick to it. It folds into its own carry bag that fits between the back of the 2nd row seats when up and the 3rd row when they are down.

I'll try to get some pictures of it in place over the weekend and post them.

Got the OEM soft vinyl cover for my Mazda5. It wipes off dirt and spills really easy, but I found that stuff tended to slide around on top of it, plus side protection was non-existent (only covers the bottom). My solution: I bought a cheap 22" x 36" carpet mat that I put on top of the vinyl cover and trimmed it to fit at the rear (towards the opening of the back door). Simple and cheap.

OK, got some pictures of the cargo liner I mentioned in post #2 laid out in the back.

The first one is in its self-carry bag
The second one is where I'm carrying it in the car for now. It will almost fit under the drivers-side rear passenger seat, but I use that for other stuff. It will amost fit in the small cargo area over the spare tire area.
The third one is out flat with the 2nd & 3rd row seats down.
The 4th one shows how it almost covers the 2nd row seat backs when down.

3 more pictures follow in the next post.

More pics of the cargo liner:

First one is of it hanging off the head-rests with the included strap and the 'flaps' tucked under it.
The 2nd & 3rd ones show the 'flaps' up along the cargo area sides. They sort of stay up there OK, and if some cargo was in there, they would be supported by it.

I bought a cheap, solid black comforter at K-Mart or something along those lines...

If you don't have anybody in the second row of seats, you just tuck the edge of the comforter over the seats and lower the head restraints to hold it in place. It keeps pet hair and grime off the carpet - which seldom gives up pet hair without an arduous battle with the vacuum cleaner, lol...
A full size comforter will more than adequately protect the cargo area of the 5. I think mine was probably 15$ or so..

we use a cheap canvas drop cloth from home depot. works good enough, and i didn't spend too much on it to worry about staining it or ripping it. plus, we can take it out and throw it in the washer if we want to.

If have ready in the car a roll of 2-inch painter's masking tape that matches the cars color (or black - if you can find one). I use them to temporarily tape off the bumper surface to minimize/prevent scratches.. when delivering loading unloading boxes.

I'm using a couple cheap blankets that I bought from Ikea when I throw my mountain bike in the back. Great for dirt and whatnot. Think I paid $8 for the pair.

I'd like something thicker with more protection....that product purchased/reviewed by skiph looks pretty ideal.
