i have an 8th to.... my buddy Derrick (DRCVIper) from the mazda3forums, hes looking to get one, and if we do this GB or get 10 people i know hell get one....plus theres an assload of people that want them for the sedan on the mazda3forums, so once this gets more finalized,ill post up a link to this thread or an official CF hood thread on the Mazda3forums im on and i know for sure i could get at least 5 people from taht

So Rishie says that FI owns a MZ3 so he doesnt see why they dont have the hoods yet. He didnt mention if they have a 4 or 5 door though. He did ask which we are looking for. I told him sedans since that is what i have and I think those of you asking about it have the sedan as well. Let me know otherwise

Aren't the hoods on the 4 and 5 door the same? I know all the late model proteges are the same.

nope, there are several differences. The main difference being with the grill. The 5 door has the grill attached to the hood, the 4 door does not

Wow, that sucks! What about the engine and chasis? That'd suck if you had two different cars to work with. It must be a PITA to get parts made for your cars!

Hit up Extreme Dimensions/ Carbon Creations and see if they have a hood for you. If not, I'm sure they'll be glad to fab one up if someone in the area has a hood they can use for a mold. It'll take them about 2 to 3 months to get it done.

Yeah, engine, suspension, chassis and interior are all the same. Just different exterior panels.
Don't know why they did it but I'm glad they did. I like the 5-door much better than the 4-door. (thumb)
