I'm in on the CF hood, I know that my sponsors, Extreme Dimensions, wants to make a hood and trunk but they need someone to donate a hood and trunk for the mold. A lot of companys are only going to make the OEM unless there is a large request for EVO Style or what not.

well expect to see pics next week of the slick car CF hood, my buddy derrick with the orange 3 that lives by me ordered it last fri, he also ordered the Accolade GTVR body kit....i too am going to get my Body kit, getting the Accolade GTVR as well this FRI , ill have pics....but when he gets the CF hood ill post pics of it

Yeah we need an agressive CF hood for the sedan, not a CF hood that looks like the OEM hood.

I just bought my hood from ebay (CarbonFiberHoods). It looks awesome. It has the factory hood latch fiberglassed into the hood, predrilled washer nozzles, bolts up to the factory hinges. Although there is some minor modifications required, it is well worth it. You will probably have to use the hoodpins that they provide with the hood. I got the hood for $398.00 with S&H. It really is a good deal. LOOK INTO IT.

I have heard nothing but bad about hoods bought off ebay. They all start to lose color, bubble, etc. keep us posted though!

Go back and look at that auction, was the hood Grade A, B, or C.. Someone on the m3forums has the ebay one and it turned yellow over time, either way you may want to look into taking it somehwere and having them shoot another layer or 2 of clear on it to protect it
