Carbon Fiber hood call out

I recently got a apc cf hood and do i need hood pins? How fast can you go w/ a cf hood?

id hate to break this to you.. but the p5 aint goin 200 mph. -=(
the only real limitation is if u wreck.. your hood doesnt crumple like a metal hood.. it goes into the cabin.. so id save those 200 mph trips for the track or the salt flats. -=)

My carbon fiber hood shakes pretty good at 100mph, but I read on this board somewhere, someone took his up to 115 I think.

I highly doubt that the hood will go into the cabin during a head-on... the fiberglass frame would most likely shatter and the hood will go flying

im talkin about a full cf hood.. cf top and supports.. like the full dg one.. i didnt kno we were talkin about a fiberglass skeleton and cf top... my bad.. nah u should be ok

The CF hoods shake when going over 100mph?!?!?! s***, maybe i dont want one anymore....

they shake because they are thin and light weight, they are not just for looks thats just a plus. the dg will hold up to anything you can throw at it. in a accident they will probably shatter where it is bolted and just fly off
