car wreck

man this lady ran a red light and she T wrecked another car that was to my left and i caught the end of her damn bumper and barely nudged her but it was hard enough to make a 1 inch crack on my front bumper right above the fog light on the left side and made a few scratches along side of the light. it was her fault going to talk to the insurance tomorrow to see what the #$% they are going to do about this. any ideas of an estimate for a new front bumper because this is ridiculous especially if they just want to try to #$% me over and just do a touch up at a local wreck shop. i'll be damn if that happens im going all out on this insurance place and going for a new bumper or maybe something better than our old one. what do ya'll think and this is my first crash and i have full coverage insurance the same with her but most of it will be taking care of the other car that was totaled by her and mine was just that crack and scratches. let me know before i let them know what i want and that is a whole new front bumper!!!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Ouch! I feel your pain man. I remember back in 94, bought a brand new Prelude SR. 2 months old, some ******* prick jumped a stop sign, nailed me in the rear quarter, spun me around. He did like $4000.00 (CDN) damage. We waited for months to get this car due to availability. Broke my damn heart.

bought a V6 accord in 99. Coupe, ground effects, spoiler, loaded. The first night we had it, some asshole did a hit and run on her while she was parked at the local grocery store. luckily, most of it was able to be buffed out except some scratches on the lower skirt.

Bought the mp3 Sept4. sept 14, some asshole left a grocery cart out, and the wind took it....just a little bump, can barely notice it, only in certain lights...but still....****! Each car was parked in the very back of the lot. Anyone ever notice, that no matter were you park, even if it's by itself on the furthest end of the parking lot, some asshole will park right next to you? Happens to me all of the time.

Anyhow man, your obligated to a brand new bumper, nothing less. Any insurance company gives you hell, give it right back.

Let us know how hard it was to get a new bumper. I've always wondered how hard parts would be to get for the MP3. I'm assuming the front bumper on the P5 don't fit.

its hardly noticable from 10 ft away. its drivable so that is all good not to mention thats not the point the point is is that its not in mint condition anymore at least for now after i go to do the insurance place.

I was just kidden with you. I know that it must suck to have a car as nice as this all dinged up, but I wouldn't sweat it. The insurance will have it as good as new.
