car stalled

is there a TSB and if so, is there a number for it so I can tell the tech. They have said all they know soo far is an ECU reflash.

Going in for a 9k looksey, oil, is there anything else??

uh oh, here come overload on flash posts...lol....MSP reruns, j/k, hopefully the flash fixes your stalling problem.

Has only happened once, no idle problems nothing. Just took my foot off the brake and went to the gas then it kicked out.

I replaced the SP5000 with Toyos 1k miles ago, hydroplaning is for boats.

I had this problem once too. I was parked at the gas station and I started the car and it stalled. It stalled three times in a row after I finally got it started. It hasn't happend since then though.

Happened to me 6 times now. The car is going back to Mazda (again) on Monday.

The car is currently only at 6700 miles.

are you guys all experiencing stalls at idle only? i've haven't had my p5 stall on me (13,500+ miles) although while sitting at idle (car out of gear, foot not on the clutch) sometimes the RPMs drop dramatically, the car shudders and feels like it wants to stall, then the RPMs jump back up and all is well again.

if this happens once a week it's a lot. i'd say maybe once a month i have it happen? seems to do it more so now that the weather is colder, but that could just be a coincidence.

My car first stalled twice in idle and twice while in gear. It just puttered and died. I think on the fourth time I pumped the gas, but it didn't do anything. This happened at around 30-35,000. My car has about 43-44,000 miles on it and like I said, it hasn't happend since.

Do a search on my username ... I put up a post about this happening to me not too long ago. However, today it was much warmer than it has been lately, and there were no probs today so im thinkin its a cold weather thing.

Meanwhile, did anyone find a fix on that prob? It seems to affect many of the auto P5's. Could I use that problem as an excuse to say that the car is a lemon and get the Mazda3 instead?
