That's your call.. but they hold up to 75lbs and have withstood 200 mph, as advertised on their website. 75 lbs is a tad bigger than a SMALL camcorder.

The Sticky Pod holds more. You literally can NOT pull it off a surface. You HAVE to peel one edge of each suction cup off.

Also, a 2-lb camcorder puts a lot more instantaneous strain on the setup than 2 lbs...each bump you hit, curve you take, etc. increases the weight 'seen' by the mount.
