Update!
Car is at Jim Ellis Collision center getting pulled apart. They already found more damage inside that was missed on the original estimate. So it is definetly going to be more than $6K. My insurance guy had to go back out there and look at it. So I'll be hearing from them monday as far as how long it'll take and such.

Sad news 
.... they totalled my car after all. I'll be getting it back home to get all my parts off it then I'll get to go car shopping! I definetly want another protege, but would really like to have a MSP or MP3!

I'm holding onto everything for now till i can find another car. And I really would like to get a speed. I Boost's would be fine with me...lol. So we'll just have to see. You all please help me find one if you can.. help would be much appreciated! And if and when I get a speed I'll be selling what parts i don't need.

all i can do is take my performance parts out and replace then with the OEM s*** .. can't take anything else or they take it out of what they are going to pay me

Adam, when the other driver's insurance came to pick up my wrecked 626, it was missing plenty of parts that were OEM, I sold some, gave some away and kept a little bit for myself, besides, a grill is a grill wether it off your es or Chris's lx, they both are oem, insurance doesn't know yours was black and his was chrome, they are buying a car to sell as a salvage title, to hell with them right, some poor smuck is gonna get your car it is going to have nothing but problems as (most) salvaged cars do. just my .o2$manofmacg3 said:all i can do is take my performance parts out and replace then with the OEM s***

And Chris, if you really want to swap parts it'd be ok with me. Just will have to catch me when I'm working on it. Just as long as its not damaged or anything and my car still looks basically the same. My insurance guy is not a dummy, though really nice.. I don't want to create any problems. Don't let me forget to get my Silverstars out either... **** those are expensive!
