I drive my car to school every day (40min. away) and I like to listen to my music real loud(2x10inch subs). Today when I get close to school and on the small roads, my subs stop working from time to time. I didn't have any time to waste in the morning so I decided to forget about it and to deal with it at knight. When i get back home, my car radio turns off on it's own and the subs don't work at all. I turn off the car and turn on the radio and the subs work again but drain my battery in about 3 min.

What's the problem with my car, have I fried my alternator (tried running the car without the positive side of the battery connected and it works fine) or do i have a short or something else? (had to boost the car to get it started again).

Please help me

It sounds like ur battery... I had the a/c, lights and sound up as high as it can go with to 12's hitting ...the radio cut out and my car did one of those shut down and restart and everything was ok for like 2 mins and it would happen again....do u still have the stock battery in the car??

Yes I do still have the stock battery in my car. How or were could I test the battery?
If I have to change it wich one should I change it with?
I don't have a small canister to regulate electric pulses(can't find the word), could that be the problem?

just fork up the moolah and get an optima battery. the cause of the shiz dying is probly the stock battery.

you can take your battery to any auto zone and they can load test it for you. if you replace it...get an optima, they are deep cycle batteries and can and will hold up much better to systems with large loads on them.

I replaced my battery when it crapped out at around 31k
