Car Died, need help ASAP

Alright so I was accelerating on to the freeway (nowhere near WOT) and when i hit about 3k rpms my car just wouldnt go anymore. So I pulled off to the side and started it back up and it will idle very rough. rpms jumping to about 1k and back to 0 then back up a few times. then the car will shut off. Still does that every time I start it.

I was driving for about a half hour before that, and didnt notice anything out of the ordinary.. ?

So what does anyone think it may be. ?

Check your FMIC piping - silicone connectors I am pretty sure you have a leak there somewhere.

I had the same thing happen to my MSP. It was the lower intercooler silicone coupler that popped off. Check all off your connections, even at the throttle body. Hopefully its just that simple of a fix for you.

its happened to me...and it was the hot pipe of my intercooler

Happened to me, as well. Intercooler hardpipe popped loose. Scared the s*** out of me, but no harm done.

Not going above 3k? Yep might be a boost leak. Mine did it the first time I installed the FMIC, it wouldn't go above 4k.

unhook your maf and start the car. if its a leaking IC pipe the car should be able to idle better with the maf unplugged. if its the same then i dont think its a vac leak. btw-pulling the maf will cause a cel so you will have to reset the ecu after you test it. if the idle is better and less iratic then i would start checking your IC piping. Sometimes they are off just a bit on one side
