Car audio basics

Does anyone know of a book/website that I can go to so I can learn the ins and outs of car audio. I want to upgrade the stock system in my MSP, but, I want to do all the work myself. Thanks in advance.

If you buy from crutchfield.com, and specify your car model, they will send you all the harnesses and brackets for free, as well as the model specific installation instruction.
