cant find the right turbo?????

the JB is a cheaper rebuild, but i thought the SR20 turbos had a different inlet, plus they have to be clocked, you have to mod your piping... so you have to spend $100 to get the turbo, $100 to rebuild it (do NOT install a used JB turbo without a rebuild), $25 on an inlet adapter... plus clock it, swap wastegates, mod your piping a little... so you're already halfway to a BB rebuild. the BB lasted 171k miles, the JB will not.

if you're doing a total switch to a t3 flange i would say get a JB. if you're upgrading turbos, i would say get JB. but if you have the shell and everything is in place as-is... if it ain't broke don't fix it.
JB is cheaper but now that CHRA's are in the ~450 range instead of the ~850 range, there just isn't the need to make the switch.

I got the ballbearing version. I thought it was worth it considering I got a great deal on it. As far as the wastegate all you need is a modified bracket from ATP and the inlet and outlet is $40 on ebay. None of my intercooler pipes have to be modified.

No I'm Naturally Aspirated, but the Evo turbo is twin scroll so you'd have boost from like 1.5krpms to red line :)

The compressor housing from your old BB turbo fits right on the Sr20 JB Turbo, no adapters necessary.
