Yes?
Marijuana grow operations produce an estimated $7 billion in product in B.C. each year. A Fraser Institute report recommends legalizing and taxing it

No?
Paul Shrive says he has a problem with the idea of the government "making money off the backs of addicted people."

He notes that every extreme drug user he has dealt with has started out on marijuana.

I've never met a person "addicted" to THC...not possible.

Hahaha. That would be so funny, for some reason I just imagined the maple leaf on the flag being replaced with a pot leaf.

Why not? Marijuana is actually helpful to your body after your brain has reached its final developmental stage. Alcohol always has and always will causemore deaths than marijuana. As far as the "gateway drug" concept, I'd be willing to bet hundreds and hundreds of dollars that most of the "extreme drugdealers" drank too, and that's perfectly legal. marijuana is not physically addicting. Even to those who argue that it is, cigarettes are much more addicting, and they're MUCH more harmful.

I don't know if it's helpful. Why then does every company I apply to refuse to hire anyone who tests positive pot? Not that I care if people do though, it just gives me that much more of an advantage over them.

Because it's illegal. That's about it.

Support your local N.O.R.M.L group.

Legalize yes, according to the same laws they use for alcohol.

YES. If it wasn't illegal to start, it would still be third behind alcohol and tobacco related deaths and nobody would give two s****. Because its currently illegal everyone gets all up in arms about legalizing it. If Tobacco was considered illegal from the start, do you think anyone would be trying to legalize that knowing its effects on the body, hell no. People would be dealing it out of vans.

By by 30% of Vancouver's criminal populations income. Good gone bye.
