can you use stock lugs?

Can you use stock lugnuts on an aftermarket rim? I just got new wheels and my lugs are like three weeks out. Thanks

I don't see why not unless the diameter for the lug nuts are smaller. I would by lug nuts with a key so no one steals them.

Most aftermarket wheels have tapered lug holes which match the tapered ends of aftermarket lugs. The stock wheels have flat lug holes to match the flat stock lugs. So, no I would not recommend using the stock lugs with aftermarket wheels.

I reused mine, but the wheels aren't exactly after-market (RX-8s). Seems most folks have to get new lug nuts.

yeah more than likly you will need a set of 'tuner' lugs....you can buy 'em and just about any auto store....usually if you buy you wheels somewhere they see them too

yeah it depends on the wheel, on both of the aftermarket wheels that have been on my car the stock lugs didnt work.
