They are not poisonous, however, I for one would not ******* dare test that theory. As they do have anaesthetic, and do eat flesh. And the fact that the grow so large, is just ******* scarey. I wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near one of these scarey fuckers. I also wouldn't use a sidearm to kill one, I'd use a ******* Uzi, or a rocket launcher, make sure I really killed the ******. gimpo2, I wanna see the pics, and teh vids, because I really wanna see one of these fuckers killed. Plus it'd be interesting to see.lol

Guys, look at the picture. The perspective is all off. Check out the guy actually holding the spiders. He is very close to the camera (you can see a bit of his face and the sleeve of his uniform on the far right). He is holding them with what appears to be a pair of needle-nose pliers.
If you look at it that way, what apprears to be 18" across shrinks to a more manageable 5"-6".
Still isn't anything I would want to mess with, though.

yes i know,spiders suck a lot
i once had one in my room (how did it come in there) which was about 14cm in length (5-5 1/4 inch) and as soon as it realized that i was coming towards it it got aggressive... luckily it was pretty stupid so it didnt manage to get a proper grip on the wall anymore, fell down an shelf with a sound like "plongg",stood up and ran away
that was the night i left my mother's home for good 8)

It's called a koo stick. We bought them at the Christian summer camp I went to when I was about 12 & the spikes are "koos"...given out kind of like scout badges. I'm 22 now & I just hammered those things in there about 2 months ago. Now it stays under my bed, ready to bash any intruder, human, alien insect, or otherwise, who decides to trespass.
